The resort located at Selsey, is an old Viking trading post. It used to be an Island about 1000 years ago cut off from the Mainland. Before the sea retreated it had once outlined the old wooden bridge that the Vikings built from Sidlesham, an ancient relic that is now replaced by the Chichester Road. This old bridge used to carry cattle and pigs from the mainland to Selsey where the animals were transported to surrounding area’s providing the bulk of the trade for this island.
The site itself provides a Fun fair, Go-Karts, a sports Complex with two swimming pools, Sauna, steam room and a Gold’s Gym all included with the subsidised site pass. The kids pool includes water slides, Rapid river and casual swimming. The adults can make use of three lane swimming. There are also Restaurants for dining.
